Where Did Fall Go??
Warm And Quiet Weather Continues
Remember last week when the first “cold” front of fall came through bringing rain and highs in the 80’s to Central Texas? What a great time that was. I sure hope we get more of that soon - *checks forecast* - oh...never mind! That’s right, another summerlike pattern is overhead! Morning lows in the upper 60’s will give Central Texas a hint of that fall atmosphere for the next week, but the afternoon high’s in the low 90’s will make it feel like summer again. Hey, at least it won’t be that humid though!

Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for exactly what was mentioned above - lows in the upper 60’s and highs in the lower 90’s with sunny skies!

According to the Climate Prediction Center, above normal temperatures and drier conditions will persist for the better part of the next 1 to 2 weeks. So if you were hoping to see further changes in the temperatures...I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but get used to the warmth for a little longer!

While we are maintaining a warm and dry forecast thanks to another high pressure ridge overhead, the tropics have been quite active - especially off the east coast. Imelda is about to be pulled back out to sea by Humberto, potentially saving the Carolinas from any possible hurricane impacts. That is probably the most active weather in or around our nation right now - so not bad all things considered!
