Valor Prep caps perfect season with TAPPS 6 Man Div. III title

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The Valor Prep Knights completed a perfect 14-0 season by winning the TAPPS Six Man Division III state championship, taking down Brazosport Christian 51-6 in just three quarters of play.
Valor head coach Stephen Byrd led the program to a 9-4 record in its first season in 2024. His Knights followed up the inaugural season with one of the most dominant overall title runs in the state, averaging over 65 points per game in 2025.
Throughout their playoff run, the Knights outscored their opponents 260-77.
